Order Entry Specialist

Reporting to the Controller, the Order Management Specialist has primary responsibilities for managing and executing the accounts payable and customer invoicing processes.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage the daily workflow of the sales order processing to ensure that all client orders are created accurately and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for creation and distribution of sales reports
  • Liaison between accounting, SansinCare, and Production for orders
  • Assist in some day to day accounting activities, including but not limited to:
  • Maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Perform regular accounting entry and reconciliation activities
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Intercompany, inventory, and COS journals
  • EDC and other insurance journals
  • HST/GST journals
  • Other monthly recurring and non-recurring journals, including accruals
  • Maintain documentation, performance metrics, and lead improvements in the Order management process
  • Provide guidance and coaching to others regarding orders
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Competencies and Skills Required:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all areas of work
  • Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and their application.
  • Proficiency in Accounting/MRP software and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively manage multiple activities and responsibilities at once.

Janitor/Cleaner – Part Time

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional part time Janitor/Cleaner (Day Shift) to clean our production facility and office space. The ideal candidate will have previous experience cleaning in a manufacturing and office environment.

*As a condition of employment, the candidate will have to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thoroughly clean office and factory area
  • Mop tile and concrete floor areas, use machine where required
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas
  • Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
  • Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, fixtures, and mirrors
  • Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed
  • Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans and place garbage in outside storage bin
  • Clean entrance and exit including glass, doors and hardware
  • Wash all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware and glass
  • Clean kitchen sinks and counters
  • Maintain cleaning inventory and notify purchasing for additional supplies
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience cleaning office and manufacturing environments
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work

Business Development Manager – Ontario

Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve revenue and growth targets for assigned territory
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to capitalize on market opportunities in all segments
  • Through a consultative sales approach, ensure customers are well positioned and equipped to expand Sansin’s line across all categories
  • Increase brand awareness through continuous education and merchandising
  • Thorough proactive contact with existing and potential clients, generate new revenue and ensure growth goals are achieved
  • Work closely with dealers to ensure full utilization of Sansin’s product line and optimal stocking of Sansin’s products
  • Develop dealer capabilities presentations and targeted promotional materials to develop sales funnel and close new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and Sansin Care team to identify, pursue and close new business opportunities in all sectors of the market.
  • Create and present creative client proposals that result in new business in both retail and industrial sectors
  • Identify and close new dealer opportunities in underdeveloped markets
  • Gather market and client intelligence and provide strategic feedback to the management team to incorporate into corporate and marketing strategies
  • Effectively work with the IRIS program and utilize the workflow to grow the specification of Sansin for projects and successfully close IRIS projects
  • Contribute new CARE projects and follow up on Sansin Care opportunities each month 
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting and business planning processes for identified territories
  • Ensure administration and meeting protocols are followed including advanced planning, agendas, timely and productive follow up as well as required tracking/documentation in CRM

Essential Experience

  • A successful track record in identifying and closing new business opportunities, or the aptitude and motivation to develop and refine consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with proven ability to analyze and translate data into key insights and recommendations.
  • Proactive and well organized with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
  • Collaborative and consultative – able to develop positive relationships at all levels of client companies and within sales and marketing teams.

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt email/phone follow-up on all customer inquiries, sales opportunities, customer complaints, and document in CRM software.
  • Managing database records, drafting status reports on internal programs.
  • Work in tandem with the sales team to develop and execute strategic account objectives
  • Prepare agendas in conjunction with other sales associates for meetings
  • Coach and motivate Dealer Staff to meet sales goals
  • Conduct and carry out virtual training sessions
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, or other sales events when required

Qualifications

  • Superior time management skills, coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize.

Work hours are primarily between 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. Professional growth opportunities based on achievement.

Job Duties

  • Daily contribution to maintain a clean, organized and quiet work environment
  • General organization of raw materials and finished goods
  • Dispense product into finished goods containers
  • Build daily orders through attaining, formulating and packing
  • Pack goods for shipments
  • Prepare product samples
  • Adhere to and implement quality control standards
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Help improve and implement policies and procedures to help maintain a healthy work environment
  • Maintain and improve on production practices and safety requirements
  • Label finished goods containers
  • Operate piment machines
  • Assist with other production requirements and other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control
  • Forklift certification considered an asset

  • Reliable form of transportation to get to and from work is a must

The Business Development Manager will focus on serving and growing our key existing accounts and identifying and closing new business with independent retailers, finishers and OEMs. We are looking for someone who has a consultative approach to help customers understand, appreciate and utilize a range of Sansin finishes to beautify and protect wood.
