This cozy home is located in beautiful Lac La Hache, a recreational and retirement community in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. The home was designed and built by Sansin partner Smith Timber Works. The timber frame structure features exterior timbers and tongue and groove soffits that are protected with Sansin SDF in a warm Brushed Sable color. On the interior, the timbers on the soaring ceilings are protected with SDF in a color called Acorn. The beams create a beautiful contrast between the dark shade on the exterior and the light, airy interior spaces. Sansin is Smith Timber Works’ preferred protective finish because of its beauty and durability.
